If you are interested in participating in the EU research programmes (FP7, Eureka or Eurostars) and have questions or doubts you can contact the national contact points of these programmes and recieve personalised advice and information.
Under the 5th and 6th Framework Programmes, all Member States and Associated Countries have set up systems of National Contact Points (NCP systems) to inform and assist potential participants and contractors in ongoing projects. For the new structures and funding schemes of FP7, providing appropriate information and assistance to potential participants is vital for assuring transparency and equal access.
As the NCPs are national structures, the type and level of services offered may differ from country to country but in general, the following basic services are available:
-
Guidance on choosing thematic priorities and instruments
-
Advice on administrative procedures and contractual issues
-
Training and assistance on proposal writing
-
Distribution of documentation (forms, guidelines, manuals etc.)
-
Assistance in partner search
NCPs are appointed for each of the areas of FP7 accordingly when seeking support you should contact the NCP relevant to your area of interest.
The NCP SME (Small and medium Enterprises) network is the main provider of advice and individual assistance in all Member States and Associated States to SMEs willing to participate in EU research (FP7, Eureka, Eurostars).
